About Author
Judy Roe Goodman
Judy Roe Goodman, born in Columbus, Ohio in 1952, has always believed in the power of curiosity, learning, and storytelling. Her academic journey took her to The Ohio State University, where she made history as the first woman to graduate from the structural engineering program in 1976. Not only did she break new ground, but she also graduated at the top of her class, paving the way for future generations of women in the field.
In her retirement, Judy returned to her passion for storytelling, writing non-fiction children’s books that teach valuable lessons about the world around us. Her first book, The Stick Family and the Flood, was well received and inspired her to continue writing. Her second book, building on the success of her first, takes readers on a journey filled with wonder, discovery, and learning, much like her own experiences
throughout life.
